L’annonce est prévue pour ce mercredi 2 février. La confirmation ne devrait donc pas tarder. En attendant, plusieurs fuites annoncent que Washington a choisi « Commanders » comme nouveau surnom.

Le journaliste Brad Freitas a d’abord relayé une photo prise au FedEx Field, sur laquelle on distingue une bache imprimée des mots « Washington Commanders. »

C’est ensuite le compte Twitter @WashingtonRealm qui a dévoilé les photos des possibles nouveaux maillots de la franchise.

On y distingue clairement le mot « Commanders » sur le torse pour la version domicile. La tenue blanche affiche le nom de la ville. Un troisième maillot noir est dévoilé par la même occasion.

Confirmation dans les heures à venir.
