Les Buccaneers ont fait signer leur premier choix de la dernière draft, le Defensive Tackle Gerald McCoy. Les deux partie se sont mis d’accord sur un contrat de 5 ans pour 63 millions de dollars dont 35 garantis.

McCoy, en provenance d’Oklahoma, était le 3e choix total de la draft 2010.

C’est une journée chargé pour les deux lignes de Tampa, un peu plus tôt les Buccaneers avaient annoncé la prolongation du contrat du Left Tackle Donald Penn. Les détails du contrat ont été dévoilés, 43 milions pour 6 ans.

Avec la signature de McCoy, il ne reste plus que 14 joueurs issus du premier tour de la draft qui n’ont pas encore paraphé de contrat avec leur équipe.
